Textile Asia 2025 – Day 1 Showcases Global Innovation, Smart Manufacturing & the Future of Textile 4.0

Textile Asia 2025 opened with powerful momentum at the Lahore Expo Centre, launching South Asia’s largest digital textile and garment machinery exhibition. Day 1 was officially inaugurated by Mr. Sheikh Shafiq Johkwala, Chief Coordinator PRGMEA, setting the tone for a technology-driven future of Pakistan’s textile sector.

Organized by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan, co-organized by PRGMEA, and supported by SIFC, this year’s theme focuses on “Technology at the Heart of Value Addition.” The exhibition highlights the rapid shift toward Textile 4.0, smart factories, digital automation, AI-driven production, and intelligent manufacturing systems.

This year’s edition brought together:

• Over 2,000 global brands

• 425+ exhibiting companies

• 425+ international delegates

• More than 57,000 expected trade visitors

• Participation from 15+ countries

• And nearly USD 300 million in on-site and projected business

The event showcased cutting-edge innovations including AI, IoT, robotics, predictive automation, cloud-based systems, and real-time data intelligence — defining the future of Pakistan’s textile and apparel value chain.

Day 1 also featured the opening of Eco-Textile Conference 2.0, themed “The Responsible Textile Shift.” The conference brought international experts, academia, policymakers, and industry leaders together to discuss ESG frameworks, renewable energy, circularity, responsible production, and digital transformation.

The participation of website diplomats and business leaders from over 16 chambers highlighted the strong global commitment to a sustainable textile future.

In his address, Mr. Muhammad Uzair Nizam, Managing Director of Textile Asia, shared:

“Textile Asia 2025 is redefining Pakistan’s textile future by placing technology, digitalization, and innovation at the center of value addition.”

With powerful attendance, breakthrough technologies, and global collaboration, Day 1 concluded with strong momentum — setting the foundation for innovation-led growth, international partnerships, and Pakistan’s advancement toward a sustainable, technology-driven textile ecosystem.
